Since I started getting involved with cat welfare in Chiang Mai last September, I've befriended Liz who runs a kitten rescue group from her house just north of the city.

Also British, Liz moved to Thailand to retire with her husband and volunteer in temples. Eventually they became involved in animal welfare, and after the loss of her husband, Liz decided to move to Chiang Mai to pursue this further.

I reached out to Liz almost a year ago to ask if I could offer my tech skills, foster some cats or provide any further help. But it wasn't until I found a pregnant street cat on my doorstep that I ended up getting to know Liz properly.
