What it's like working from a sailboat

Many people have asked us what it's like to work remotely from a boat, so I thought I'd share a few insights about how it's going so far.

Let me preface this with the fact that I'm quite used to pairing remote work with travel. I've lived and worked in Thailand, Indonesia, South Africa, Canada, Budapest, Singapore, Taiwan and more over the past 4+ years, so I'm familiar with the challenges and benefits of this type of work life.

The main difference on the boat is that it's our home. Rather than waking up in a rented apartment and heading out to a coworking space or cafe, I wake up in my home, which happens to be floating.

It's definitely a little more complicated than remote work on land, but the payoff is worth it!
